CV, profile & experience

How is a work profile different from a paper CV?

Short answer

A paper CV is a fixed snapshot you rewrite by hand; a work profile is a living record that updates as you work and can show evidence behind each claim.

A CV is written once for a moment and starts ageing immediately: it lists what you say you did, with no way for a reader to check it. A work profile keeps the same information but stays current and separates what you declare from what has been confirmed.

Because the profile is connected to your real activity, skills and confirmations can be attached as evidence, and you control what is visible. It complements a CV rather than replacing the idea — you can still export or import one — but it does not go stale the moment it is saved.
